Description

Spring Valley Bible Camp is located in the Mississippi River Valley just north of Muscatine, Iowa and 30 minutes west of Davenport, Iowa. SVBC is associated with the Conservative Baptist Churches of Iowa and has 10 – 12 supporting churches.

The camp is host to five weeks of camps, reaching over 300 students each summer representing 42 different churches, along with several rental camps that are held throughout the summer. SVBC is located on a 27-acre property with six cabins that sleep 10 – 12 people. There is a large men’s/women’s bathhouse and a swimming pool with a men’s/women’s shower house. Other buildings include a chapel, recreation hall, two staff cabins, and a director’s house which also hosts two furnished apartments.

Valley Lodge is a newly constructed multi-million dollar on-site event and retreat center that has a full kitchen, dining and reception areas that accommodate 150 – 200 people, eight 12-person rooms with each room having an individual shower and bathroom, and three 2-person suites each with on-suite full bathrooms. This overlooks a 2-acre stocked pond which provides opportunities for activities such as paddle boats and canoes.

Also on the property are recreational activities such as a basketball court and baseball diamond, as well as a miniature golf course. Future recreational plans include a sand volleyball court and Frisbee golf course.
